Residents of the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Marcy and Lou thrive on the peace of that blessed part of the world to feed their music. The waves, sand and wind are just as much a part of their creative process as are the sunshine, humidity and hurricanes. They share a love of family and community that is so important to everyone in their coastal town. |

Marcy
Brenner is from Virginia and spent time each summer in Nags Head with
her family. In the years between, she played (guitar, percussion, mandolin,
vocals) in basement party bands, churches, coffee houses, bluegrass
gatherings, weddings, special events and several genre and/or original
bands in Virginia and then in California. As marketing and artist relation’s
manager for Dean Markley Strings in California, she worked “on
the other side of the desk” with world-famous artists, which was
